Refund Policy
At Sell Your Sound, we are committed to providing a transparent and fair marketplace for artists and curators. This policy outlines when refunds may be issued and the process for requesting one to ensure clarity in every transaction.
Eligibility Criteria
Refunds may be issued if certain criteria are met to ensure a fair marketplace for both artists and curators. Please review our eligibility standards below.

No Action Taken
The curator did not review or respond to your submission within the required 72-hour window (though most aim to respond within 24 hours).

Incorrect Match
A refund may be issued if SYS incorrectly listed a curator as accepting your submitted genre.

Technical Issues
A refund may be issued if a confirmed technical error caused by SYS prevents your submission from reaching the curator.

Request Process
Refund Requests: To request a refund, please contact our support team at legal@sellyoursound.org with your order number and a brief explanation of your request. We aim to review all refund requests within 5–7 business days.
Once received, your request will be reviewed under the eligibility requirements outlined in this policy. You will be notified by email whether your request has been approved or denied. Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original method of payment.
Please note: SYS may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase.
Non-Refundable Items
Submission for Consideration
Refunds are not issued because the service provided is the review and consideration of your music, not a guarantee of placement, airplay, or positive feedback.
Subjective Evaluation
Music evaluation is inherently subjective. Differences in artistic opinion or creative taste between the curator and the artist do not qualify for a refund.
Completed Reviews
Once a curator has listened to and reviewed the submission, the service is considered fully rendered and is generally ineligible for cancellation or refund.
